"Amazing Time in Barcelona"
We got our Barcelona Pass via the LatitudeFortyOne blog, which was super useful for organizing our first visit to the city. The pass offered great bang for our buck. As a family of three, we found the Bus Turistic Hop on, Hop off 2-day tour to be fantastic, letting us explore all the stunning spots in Barca, plus the Park Guell option made it a breeze to get there with the bus pick up and drop off. We didn’t use the AeroBus, but it was part of the deal too.
We can’t recommend TGI Tours enough for the Sagrada Familia, which is also part of the Barcelona Pass. We had a 2:30pm tour booked for October 14th, but sadly, we couldn’t make it due to the Catalonia Independence Movement protests. The demonstrators actually blocked our cab right when we were about to cross an intersection. I was pretty upset, to say the least. Julian from TGI reached out via email since we weren’t at the meeting point, and I explained what happened. He was quick to ask how long we’d be in Barcelona so they could reschedule our tour. We were totally not expecting that! It was really kind of them. We got rebooked for the next day. Mireaia, our local guide, was incredibly understanding. She was just amazing. The tour was packed with info. Sagrada isn’t just a trend; it’s truly something special. I still get chills thinking about it. You’ve got to see it.
Just a heads up, even with the protests, we managed to get around without feeling unsafe at all. Don’t let that scare you off from visiting Barcelona. We’re already planning our next trip!

"Best Experience in Barcelona"
We purchased our Barcelona Pass through LatitudeFortyOne blog. I found this blog very helpful for planning our first trip to Barcelona. The Barcelona Pass was very good value for money. We are a family of 3. The Bus Turistic Hop on, Hop off 2-day tour was great and the best way to see all the beautiful places in Barca as well as the Park Guell option with the bus pick up and drop off which made going there very easy. We did not, however, use the AeroBus but that was also included in the pass.
We highly recommend TGI Tours for Sagrada Familia which is also included in the Barcelona Pass. We were booked for a 2:30pm tour, October 14th. We, unfortunately, were not able to make it because of the Catalonia Independence Movement demonstrations. The demonstrators literally sat in front of our cab as we were about to cross an intersection. I was distraught to say the least. Julian from TGI emailed me checking because we were not at the meeting place and I explained our situation. He immediately asked how long are we staying in Barcelona so they can rebook our tour. We were not expecting this at all. It was very gracious of them. We were booked the day after. Mireaia, our tour guide who is a local was very empathetic. She is amazing. The tour was very informative. Sagrada is not just a hype. I still get goosebumps reminiscing about our tour. It is a must-see.
Important to note that despite the demonstrations we were still able to get around and did not feel unsafe at all. Don’t let this deter you from going to Barcelona. We already plan to go back.
